Joseph’s future appeared to rest in the hands of cruel and wicked men. Yet every step of his journey remained under the sovereign direction of God. The betrayal, the pit, and the journey into Egypt were all woven into the Lord’s gracious purpose to preserve His people and fulfill His promises.
