Hymn Sing

 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. – Colossians 3:16 ESV

Around once per month, we focus our congregational singing specifically toward hymns. Redeemer Church is rather eclectic, musically speaking. We sing and play a variety of styles, ranging from traditional to upbeat Gospel and contemporary praise and worship. But the great hymns of the church are a vital historical and theological treasure trove! Verses rich in doctrinal truth are beautiful testimonies from those of long ago, brothers and sisters who experienced God’s faithfulness in their time and recorded glimpses in the lyrics now preserved in our hymnbooks! Faithful hymns are a beautiful heritage of the church!
