Sealed with the Promised Holy Spirit

Join us this Sunday 02/11/2024 for a message titled, “Sealed with the Holy Spirit” (Ephesians 1:13,14)

Ephesians 1:13-14  In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,  (14)  who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory.

The Holy Spirit of God is the Herald of Salvation who goes forth in the preaching of the Good News of Jesus Christ, convincing elect souls of righteousness and making God’s people “willing in the day of His power!” The Holy Spirit is essential for effective preaching. Without Him, our preaching is ineffectual, powerless, pointless. Ah, but when the Word of God is proclaimed in the power of the accompanying Holy Ghost of God, no weapon formed against the truth shall prosper! This is a comfort for the people of God!
