Our Heritage
Redeemer Church was launched with the cooperation of the congregation of Horizons Baptist Church. Throughout HBC’s 23 year history, the church’s commitment to the Gospel of God’s free and sovereign grace was unrivaled. In the height of the church’s ministry reach, the little congregation produced a weekly radio broadcast which aired on several radio outlets throughout the US and Africa, maintained a free online Bible Institute to help train pastors, and reached thousands per month through sermon video streams.
We appreciate how HBC opened their doors to make Redeemer Church a reality. Redeemer isn’t closing the book on Horizons…. we are, by God’s grace, continuing the story!
