We may be afflicted in every way. But we are not crushed. We may be perplexed, but not driven to despair. All day long we may be persecuted. But we are not forsaken. Still others may be struck down. But we are not destroyed. Mourning may last through the night, but joy comes in the morning. The only hope and eternal comfort in this world for those who rejoice or for those who mourn is Christ!
The Poor in Spirit
So many in religion think themselves "rich, increased with goods and in need of nothing!" Believing all is well between them and God, they suppose their acceptance is based on personal religious goodness. They assume everything to be fine, knowing not they are wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked.
Faith: God’s Gift of Seeing Christ
Brothers and sisters, may your faith be fixed not on the seen but on the unseen glory of Christ. Let us remember: the same Word that created the world has now recreated our hearts in Christ. And by faith, we walk—not by sight.

Who is My Neighbor? Christ, Compassion, and the Law
Let us hear the parable rightly: not as a ladder to climb, but a window into the heart of God. Jesus doesn’t just tell us to love—He loved us first (1 John 4:10). And having received such mercy, we are now free to show mercy to others—not to earn life, but because we have life in Him.

There Was a Certain Rich Man: The Historicity of Christ’s Telling of the Rich Man and Lazarus
We see strong exegetical and theological grounds to affirm its historicity. The naming of Lazarus, the narrative structure, and the theological precision all support this conclusion. But more than this, it is Christ’s omniscient authority and purpose that compel us to receive this story as truth revealed, not fiction invented.
Article and Sermon – Behold, God is Doing a New Thing!
As Christians, we believe in the sovereign hand of God in all things. He alone redeems. He alone restores. And He does so for His glory and for our good. Even in dry seasons, God is at work. Even in wilderness moments, His rivers of grace are flowing. God formed us, His chosen people, “that [we] might declare [His] praise” (v. 21).
Defending Double Predestination
For the believer, this doctrine provides a robust framework for appreciating the grace of salvation and the holiness of God, while also offering comfort in knowing that all things, including the eternal destinies of individuals, are in the hands of a Sovereign and Just God.
